You already know the problem. The bottle looks like one thing on the shelf and something else entirely once it's on your hand.
Why this store exists
A color chip is a flat square of plastic. Your hand isn't. The same red can go warm and expensive on one person and faintly bruised on another, and no amount of squinting at a bottle tells you which one you're about to get.
So we built the thing we wanted: pick a hand close to yours, pick the shape and length you actually wear, and see the shade sitting on skin instead of glass. It's free, it runs in your browser, and there's nothing to install.
Six hands, not one
Most stores show you a single hand, and it's almost never yours. We work from six — porcelain through espresso — shot under the same light so you can compare across them fairly.
Every shade in the store can be seen on every one of the six. That includes the glitters, shimmers and crackles, which are the hardest to show honestly and the ones you're most likely to guess wrong about.
What we're not
We don't make the polish. We choose it, we name it, and we show it to you properly. The names you'll see — deep red creme, blush rose, oxblood — are ours, because the supplier codes on the bottles tell you nothing about what you're buying.
And the preview is a preview. Screens differ, skin differs, and the light in your kitchen isn't the light in ours. It'll get you far closer than a bottle does. It won't be perfect, and we'd rather say so.
