Green Nail Polish on Dark Skin

If anyone’s told you to stick to neutrals, ignore them. Dark skin gives you the most range of any tone: brights land hard, pales show up properly, and deep shades gain richness instead of going flat.

Start with Soft green crème (BP76) — a true green, and it stands well clear of your skin. 24 of the 36 will read as a real contrast on your hand, and four will blend almost all the way in if that’s what you’re after. If you’d rather go deeper, Espresso green crème (RC2810) is more of a near-black forest.

Change the nail shape and length as you go — the same green is a different manicure short and round than it is long and stiletto.
