Orange Nail Polish on Brown Skin

Brown skin carries saturated color without it ever looking loud. And pales stop vanishing the way they do on lighter hands — a bone or a soft grey reads clean and deliberate.

Start with Soft coral crème (BP04) — a warm coral, and it stands well clear of your skin. Four of the 22 will read as a real contrast on your hand, and six will blend almost all the way in if that’s what you’re after. If you’d rather go deeper, Deep coral crème (RC2402) is more of a terracotta.

Change the nail shape and length as you go — the same orange is a different manicure short and round than it is long and stiletto.
