Yellow Nail Polish on Brown Skin

Brown skin carries saturated color without it ever looking loud. And pales stop vanishing the way they do on lighter hands — a bone or a soft grey reads clean and deliberate.

Start with Pale citrine crackle (RTA623 Color) — a citrine, and it stands well clear of your skin. Ten of the 14 will read as a real contrast on your hand. If you’d rather go deeper, Rich citrine crème (SLA-B018) is more of a citrine.

Change the nail shape and length as you go — the same yellow is a different manicure short and round than it is long and stiletto.
