Pink Nail Polish on Dark Skin

If anyone’s told you to stick to neutrals, ignore them. Dark skin gives you the most range of any tone: brights land hard, pales show up properly, and deep shades gain richness instead of going flat.

Start with Deep pink crackle (RTA626 Color) — cool, deep fuchsia, and it stands well clear of your skin. 27 of the 38 will read as a real contrast on your hand, and three will blend almost all the way in if that’s what you’re after. If you’d rather go lighter, Pale pink crème (BP87) is more of a rose pink.

Change the nail shape and length as you go — the same pink is a different manicure short and round than it is long and stiletto.
