12 crackle shades, 7ml each, soak-off gel cured under UV or LED light. Crackle goes over a base color, not on bare nails — it's a top layer that splits apart as it sets, so the color underneath shows through the cracks.

Pick a base with real contrast to the crackle color — that's what makes the shattered pattern read clearly instead of blending into a muddy mess.

Questions people ask before they buy

Do I need a UV or LED lamp for this?

Yes. This is a true soak-off gel, so it stays soft until it's cured — both UV and LED lamps work. Skip the lamp and it never fully hardens: it stays tacky and chips almost right away.

How many coats do I need?

One thin coat of base, two thin coats of color, then a top coat. Thin coats cure faster and last longer than one thick one.

How long does it actually last?

About 2 to 3 weeks with normal wear, closer to 3 if you keep your hands out of hot water and heavy cleaning for the first day.

How do I take it off without wrecking my nails?

Soak it, don't peel it. Wrap acetone-soaked cotton in foil around each nail for 10-15 minutes, then gently push the softened polish off. Peeling is what actually thins and damages the nail — the soak-off method is built into the name for a reason.

How do I actually apply crackle polish?

Paint and fully dry a base color first — a color that contrasts with the crackle shade you're layering over it. Then apply one thin, even coat of the crackle polish. It starts separating within seconds on its own; the thinner the coat, the finer the cracks, and a thicker coat gives you bigger, bolder splits. Cure it, then seal the whole thing with a top coat.

My crackle polish isn't cracking. What went wrong?

Two usual causes: the base coat underneath wasn't fully dry, or the crackle layer went on too thick. Let the base set completely and use a thin, even hand with the crackle coat and it should split within seconds.

Will it look the same on me as it does in a photo?

A bottle photo tells you almost nothing about how a shade sits on skin. Try it on a hand like yours first — pick your tone, your nail shape and length, and see this exact shade before you order.
